Walking in His will
Romans 12:2
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
As children of God we are called to walk in a different manner from the ways of this world; strife, politics, hate, anger, backstabbing, lies and the list goes on. But Paul in this letter urges us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
How is that done? By reading God's word.
We know that God and His word are one. (John 1) Hence when you spend time reading God's word and walking in what it tells us to do, we realise that our manner of life becomes minority and we stand out. That is how we testify to people around us about God; through our actions.
We also realise that Paul tells us that by renewing our minds, we may "prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." From this we can see that many times, the desire that we have to know God's plan for our future, to walk in His perfect will for us, it is achievable by renewing our minds. That way, our desires are aligned with God's desires too.
